I am a third year psychology student studying dog breed differences in behaviour for my dissertation. 
My family dog, Izzy, is a miniature schnauzer who has just turned 11. We administer oral medication multiple times a day and she is walked in a stroller. Izzy was born a reactive dog which we handle with positive reinforcement training and good lead control. I feel confident in handling reactive or nervous dogs up to about 30-40kg in weight.
I have worked in a doggy day care to collect data for my dissertation, I was subject to animal handling training and care. I have a well-rounded view on dog breeds and so the breed of the dog does not phase me. 
I understand the high prey drive associated with some breeds and energetic nature of others, this means I will always keep dogs on the lead unless myself and the owner feel confident off-lead. 
More recently, I have worked with XL Bullies (fostering, muzzle and walking). These are strong dogs whom I have had no issues with as bullies are food motivated. I usually carry a dog treat bag with me to encourage eye contact and confidence throughout the walk. 
I am used to the company of dogs and would be more than happy to in-sit while you are away, as I can do my university work anywhere. I pretty much depend on animals to function haha, so if finance is an issue then please speak to me and we can sort something out :) 
I also have experience with caring for rodents and cats, so I am more than happy to help you out with these pets too. 
My car is dog friendly and insured for animals. 

I love pets and animals, especially dogs! I am a young student so love being outdoors and active whenever I find time away from my studies. I am home for the summer so have lots of spare time where usually I'd be walking alone so some company would be lovely and spending time around animals is my happy place! I have a pet Labrador named Scooby, he is my bestfriend and what got me through lockdown. He loves long walks, playing in the garden and lots of cuddles and attention but is getting a bit old so doesn't have as much energy as he used to, whereas I need to get rid of all mine still! I've had one other dog and two cats in my life, I often look after a friends puppy and my Nan and grandads cat when needed. I am super keen to get to know new animals and help people in their day to day life as well as longer stays and holidays. I am a student but am staying at home for the summer in my parents house so cannot host pets, but am happy to travel to homes to look after pets and available for regular walks if required too! I offer king and short stays when available, walks, regular checks and toilet let outs and pretty much anything you may require at your house as I cannot host at mine 

Hi my name is Robyn, I'm 28 had pets my whole life you name it I've probably loved one my all time favourite is a goat.  I'm always caring towards animals, even the wild ones I currently have a fox named slightly I've spent months feeding and gained his trust enough he will come when called, sit, take food from my hand and a few nose boops here and there, still working on having a stroke and loves but he's worth the hard work same as any animal in my book. I have no previous experience in being an professional sitter or walker, but I watch/walk Family and friends animals whenever they need me mainly cats and dogs but also have had pet rabbits, turtle and watched a Freinds ferret multiple times. I currently work as a bar manager and to be honest spend too much time around people and not enough animals, so i would love to see if this will help take me in a new career direction with animals. Happy to meet up with anyone to get to know eachother and will answer any questions, because I know trusting someone with your fur baby is a big thing, I will always respect your boundaries as well as the fur baby's, I'm not sure what else to write to be honest I'm not overly great when writing but in person I am a fun bubbly caring person and hope you are willing to take that chance on me, I'll never know unless I try so fingers crossed I hope I get to meet some amazing people and animals along the way thank you for reading my profile.&nbsp;Services..&nbsp;My schedule always depends on what my bar job schedule is for the month some days will be mornings only and some days would be whole days free so will be flexible on those ones... Evenings are rare for me but give me&nbsp; 2-4 weeks notice I can always let my job know and ask them to put me on a day shift or completely off&nbsp;Dog walking&nbsp;When walking dogs minium 1hr, maximum would be dependent on days and time free plus the dogs age as understand older dogs may have less energy to last too long on a walk. Day and weather dependent would be where we go, I live next to a giant feild so that would always be a main area i would go but I would always see what's close by to the owners home and pick a destination that way.. Southsea beach. And foxes forest and when gotten to know the dog and owners better and have that trust would always consider day trips out to further away places like new forest and queen Elizabeth country park kind of places.&nbsp;&nbsp;Not qualified to administer injections and things like that but if you show me enough times I am willing to be shown how to and do it.. non qualified medication things like worming and&nbsp; flea treatment have done plenty of times to cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters. That would be down to you if you need me to do this for you on a day you won't have time.&nbsp;Home visits.&nbsp;This will pretty much be the same aspect as the dog walk would always try and aim for 1 hour minimum and maximum is always dependent on the days and times I have free.&nbsp;Training and grooming.&nbsp;Not qualified in any of this professionally. but have knowledge on day to day things from owning pets my whole life, so can brush and clip nails. And train in my own way like we all do when first get a pet to get puppies to learn commands if need be.&nbsp;


I am 21 years old, doing a degree from home and pet-sitting on the side. I have always loved animals of all kinds from a young age. This has led to me dog-sitting, cat-sitting (and even lizard-sitting!) for family and friends for approximately 5 years. I have a golden labrador who is now 12 years old, so I also have experience of living with a dog. I have looked after a number of dogs and cats, ranging from pop-in visits and walks to staying at people's houses for extended periods to keep pets company and provide them care. Cats and dogs are the animals I have the most experience with, but provided I have the right information about the care of an animal I am open to any pet. I have looked after a bearded dragon for a few nights, but this is the most exotic pet I have cared for. I also have a pet giant african land snail (an archachatina marginata ovum called Norris). I completed a dog training extracurricular course at secondary school which has provided me with a more well-rounded understanding of the care and attention dogs require. Looking after animals is a passion of mine and animals are a really important part of my life, so interacting with them and caring for them as a profession is a dream come true! I can only pet-sit at your own home due to living in shared accommodation and having a dog of my own. I cannot pet-sit if you have guinea pigs due to a serious allergy. I’ve always had a dog since I was a small child. Big ones, little ones, naughty ones, smart ones, pure breeds and mongrels! All were special to me in their own way and gave me much joy. After losing my most recent terrier to old age, I started to look after friends and neighbours dogs to fill the gap left by the lack of wet nose and paw prints and then decided to set up my own business ‘Woofmother’. And I have been busy ever since!
I have looked after a variety of dogs over the years, particularly nervous dogs, those with separation anxiety, behavioural issues and those who find difficulty with social interaction (whether with humans or other dogs). I have experience with senior dogs and those with health issues. I am pet first aid trained, fully insured and Enhanced DBS check certified.
I have also looked after people’s cats and small furries and I used to run a smallholding, so I’m adept at looking after most types of animals and have personally owned several dogs, a feral cat, ducks, chickens, sheep and pigs! I am an all round animal lover!
I offer pet-sitting services in your home, drop-ins and dog walking. For drop-ins, I can administer medication, feed, walk, play, empty litter trays or just provide company and cuddles. I can do day sits, evening sits or overnight sits. I can walk your dog for half an hour or an hour depending on their needs. This includes solo walking and walking in secure dog parks for particularly reactive dogs.
