I am a BSc graduate in Zoo Management, with lots of experience with exotic pets such as birds, small mammals and reptiles.&nbsp;
I have a number of pets myself, including the above (cockatiels, snakes, and lizards) and have previously cared for small mammals and invertebrates. I have an intense passion for animal welfare and care.&nbsp;
I am available for house calls to visit your pets in their own environment and provide any care arranged such as feeding, changing water dishes, cleaning cages and providing enrichment or attention, as well as sending you photographs and updates of your pets whilst you are away from home! I understand that leaving your pets at home can be a stressful time, and I endeavour to enable you to feel confident that they are in capable hands. I welcome any questions about my experience or care, as well as in depth information and instruction on how you would like your pets to be taken care of in your absence.&nbsp;
My experience includes taking care of my own pets on a day to day basis, as well as providing rehabilitative and some medical care such as giving medication, weighing, performing health checks, and keeping good records, caring for exotic species during my studies, creating and providing enrichment activities, volunteer work in a zoo, and previously boarding reptiles in my home. I keep myself up to date on the latest research and developments on the care of captive exotic animals, and it is my pleasure to provide a high standard of care to any animal I am responsible for; temporarily or otherwise. It would be a joy to be able to care for your scaley, furry, or feathered pets and give you the peace of mind that your pets are well cared for while you are away!


Hello! I'm Meredith and I've been dogsitting for about five years. I'm a young professional who does mostly remote work, so I'm flexible with my schedule. I've dog sat for all kinds of dogs - small dogs, big dogs, rescue dogs, puppies, you name it. I love dogs so much that I have recently rescued my own! Due to my own dog having certain fears (scared of strangers) and needs, I'm even more experienced now with nervous and fearful dogs, and I have a lot of knowledge about training them to come out of their shell.
I'm available to look after dogs in my home, or come to your own home. Our home is a spacious terrace house with an open plan floor and a nearby park. I can guarantee any dog in my care will have a wonderful and safe time! They will most likely meet my own dog Casper, who gets on well with other dogs.
In your own home, I take great care to leave it how I found it, and adhere to any needs of your pets (including if you have pets other than dogs - I don't dogsit exclusively :) )
I am able to administer medication, and also provide some training if that is what you'd like. I also have access to a car for easier transport.

I have been used to looking after dogs, cats and rabbits since I was a child, having my own cats and rabbits and often often taking care of dogs for family members and friends and have over 20 years experience of looking after dogs and cats. Even now with my own partner and children, I often look after dogs and cats for friends and family. I am a stay at home mum to 4 children, who absolutely adore animals. Our house is busy with 6 of us, so any pet coming to spend time with is, will never be short of attention or affection. We currently have a cat called “Poppy” and we have wanted a dog of our own for a while now, and one day in the not too distant future, we are hoping to get a dog of our own. We are a family who loves to get out for walks to parks and sometimes the beach and we love being able to take a dog with us. Being a stay at home mum means I have plenty of time during the day to care for and spend time with a dog.


I am an experienced pet sitter and animal lover who has spent over a year looking after dogs, cats and other animals for owners who are going away on holiday. I have looked after a bunny, ragdoll cats, a beagle, Romanian rescue dogs, a Bichon frise, a cocker spaniel, a Keeshond, Labradors and poodle crosses among others. I am not allowed to keep pets in the house where I live, but I absolutely adore animals and this is a perfect chance for me to spend time giving love to them! I will always treat your pet as if it is my own and look after it with the utmost care and attention. I am available to visit your pet, to walk your dogs and to housesit, and to do whatever is required to ensure the happiness and comfort of the animals in my care. Specifically: I can be available according to what works best for you. I am a student and a writer and spend most of my time working from home. 
For dog walking and home visits: morning and afternoon is preferred but I can be flexible. I will stay with your pets for as long as is decided and walk dogs as the owner requires, usually between 30-90 minutes per day (but more or less depending on the need of each pet). I generally take the dogs I look after to the local park or green space, or can just walk them around the neighbourhood if that is preferred. I can feed your animals, administer oral medication, clean up after them, and also take in the mail or water plants if that is required. I will also make sure the door is always locked if I am not in the property and return your keys to the designated place.&nbsp;
For house sits: I will stay for the length of time required, and will always treat your house with the same respect that I treat my own. Home security is paramount at all times and the house will look exactly as it did when you left, on your return.
I will always ensure your pet's routine remains the same as it does if you were at home with them. I will give them boundless love and attention at all times, and will provide regular updates (with photos and videos). For me, this is not a job but a passion.
