"Vania recently looked after our three cats whilst we were on holiday for five days, doing daily visits in the evenings. We hadn't been away from our older two cats since shortly before covid19 lock down occcured and we had never been away groom our youngest cat who has only just turned one for more than a few hours during the day time. Vania knew how anxious we were about leaving our boys and i particular how worried my daughter was to leave our kitten for the first time. We met Vania for the first time to introduce her to the cats and our home a few days before we left and knew instantly that we had made the right choice. She was very polite and friendly, made sure to cover all bases and get any information on each cat's needs and emergency information like which vet practice they attend etc. She learned the routine of the cats and made herself known to each of them whilst requesting to know any hiding spots or favourite places each cat has so that she would know where to look if they were hiding upon her arrival (which they were! our kitten was hiding in a new spot every evening she visited - Vania handled this really well and let him come out in his own time plus plenty of reassurance to gain his trust which worked wonders!) Our boys like to run riot through the night so can cause a bit of a mess around the house sometimes knocking things over or dragging toys out from under sofas or pulling things out of drawers etc and Vania actually made sure to tidy up around the place during her visits so we came home to a nice tidy home despite how much of a ruckus they likes caused! The litter trays were dilligently scooped each day and waste disposed of in the outdoor bin, water bowls were kept clean and topped up/re-filled daily, the biscuit bowls were kept filled and a wet food meal was provided to each cat on her evening visits plus treats provided were also given to them. We had Vania post our set of keys that we had left her back through our letterbox when leaving her final visit upon us arriving back home the next afternoon. The daily contact and updates we received from Vania including multiple photographs of each cat, how they were adjusting and getting along, if they were eating and using the toilet as normal, what she had been doing each visit and she was absolutely brilliant on keeping us informed daily with how our kitten was handly being left alone for the first time and what she was doing to aid him in coping and making him feel more comfortable and gaining his trust which was honestly so SO helpful to us and a great sense of relief for my daughter who had been very worried about leaving him. We returned to three VERY happy and well taken care of cats, it was obvious that they had taken well to having Vania around and even went to sit at the front door at the usual time she had been doing her visits from the first two days we were back, as if they were still eagerly expecting her to come and visit them. Our kitten took a day or two to trust that we weren't going to leave him again but after lots of extra attention, reassurance and cuddles he was straight back to mischief as usual! I would highly highly recommend choosing Vania to pet sit for you! She is such a respectful, caring and attentive person who is brilliant with cats of all ages and all needs - very trustworthy and reliable! Keeps in contact with daily updates and photographs to help reassure you that your pets are happy and cared for whilst you're gone. I would truly recommend her to anyone and will 100% book Vania again the next time we go away, as I know my cats will be in good hands!! Can't thank her enough! :) "
