"Jessica is a true animal lover. Lucca had a wonderful week with her. She sent super photos and videos of the walks Lucca went on. She gave him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Lucca bonded with her very well indeed. I think she is a superb dog carer and I will definitely use her again."

"Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

"I hadn't used Pawshake before but I couldn't be more impressed with the pet sitter I chose! Barbara was lovely from start to finish, she welcomed my rescue puppy into her home and made a genuine effort to get to know her and her needs. I was kept up to date with regular photos & messages during Freya's stay and was in no doubt that my puppy was safe and happy. Such a lovely couple, and Pepper the poodle was adorable! 100% recommended."

"Pri and Viggy looked after our 3yr old lab Rocky for 2 weeks. They were in daily contact with us whilst we were away on holiday and shared some photos. Rocky was well looked after and they catered for his daily needs and walks. Rocky bonded well with their own dog and he had a wonderful time. Dog walking, playtime and exercise plus the care and attention Pri & Viggy provided was excellent. When we collected Rocky I think he was sad to leave. I thoroughly recommend these sitters and we will be using them again for sure."

"I would give 10 stars if I could! Rachel was very caring and welcoming towards my little dog , extremely competent, made sure all requirements for him were understood. Under stressful situation of my dogs aged poor health, Rachel communicated and did the very best possible to look after him. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rachel. "

"Elena was absolutely amazing with Luna, our cockapoo! The whole experience was excellent. From the very first messages exchanged, Elena was very understanding and flexible in giving me options for dates she could have our dog. This is despite the fact I had to arrange a dog sitter at very short notice!
We met with our dogs at a park before the booking dates and Elena asked pertinent questions, so she could get to know Luna and make sure it was the right fit for everyone.
During Luna's stay, Elena kept me up-to-date, sending lovely pictures of their walks. It is very obvious to me that Luna had a great time... and so did Elena and her family, taking care of a dog that gets excited being around lovely people. :-)
I have no doubt that I'll reach out to Elena again if I need a dog sitter and will recommend her to everyone. Thanks again Elena!
PS: I even had a last minute need to extend Luna's stay for a day and once again, Elena was a star, responding quickly and accommodating the request."

"Luka and his family are very pleasant and so easy to communicate with. He sent some lovely pictures of my dog during her stay, and she was very bubbly and happy. They were really careful about noting her food and medication needs and took really good care of her. I will definitely go to Luka again next time I’m away and would definitely recommend."

"Our French bulldog had a great experience! He came back happy , looking good ! We received daily updates, photos and a few details about his day ! Even from the photos we could tell he was happy . Natalia’s family kindly allowed our dog on the sofa , so he felt really at home. There were two other dogs there which Natalia was really transparent about right away, and offered to meet before dog boarding started to see if it works for us ! I felt at ease , seeing that my dog is in good hands . Will most certainly be using Natalia’s help in future.

"I can happily recommend Samantha 100%. She is a great dog carer and has real empathy with dogs. She sent me photos daily which was very reassuring. Lucca was relaxed and happy all the time, and did not seem phased having been living in a different house for a few days. "Mara also offered a pick up and drop off service, in addition to watching my 2 dogs for a week. She was efficient and looked after them super well!
