"Where do I start?
We had a bad experience with a cat sitter in the past, so we were naturally quite anxious about finding someone new. A friend recommended Pawshake, as they had always had great experiences and couldn't fault any of the cat sitters they had booked through the platform.
That's when we came across Char's profile. After a quick chat, Char offered to come over for a face-to-face meeting and to meet our cat, Cleo. From the very first moment, we could tell how warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely Char is. She has exactly the kind of energy you want around your pet when you're away.
Throughout our trip, we received clear, informative updates and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious that Cleo was being well cared for and receiving plenty of attention and affection.

"I can't thank Jessica enough for looking after and feeding my two cats. It's not an easy task... I have one cat who is greedy and eats everything, has a specific veterinary diet and tablets due to his health needs. My other cat is nervous and shy, and she has refused to eat with other cat sitters I have tried. I thought I'd never be able to go away for even a night as it was such a task to feed them both. Jessica is a miracle worker and must be a cat whisperer. My nervous cat went up to her on their first meeting and even ate her food in her presence. While I was away, she managed to get both cats to eat all their meals with no issues. My nervous cat took to her immediately and was even purring with her. I was gobsmacked and ecstatic! Jessica is a true animal lover, extremely caring and kind, and very professional. I completely trust her with my cats and would strongly recommend her services to others. I will definitely be booking her again to look after my cats."

"Yasemin was wonderful from beginning to end. She is so lovely and genuinely has a passion for providing the best care for pets. She looked after my cat Coco for a few days while I was on a family holiday. My cat is a rescue and takes a while to warm up to people. After our first meeting, Coco was at ease and was happy to get some love from her new friend. This was the first time for me, leaving Coco in the care of someone who isn't family, and I couldn't be happier with the care Yasemin provided. She kept me updated everyday with videos and piccies of Coco, which really helped ease my anxiety and feel happy in the knowledge that my floofy girl was happy and cared for. Yasemin was wonderful to talk to and always responded quickly to messages upon first contact. She understood all care instructions and was happy to help. I messed up the booking and Yasemin was super sweet and flexible, which was really appreciated. I can tell that Coco was really pleased with her new friend, as she didn't yell at me when I came home! Altogether, I know exactly who I will be messaging first, next time I need some to cat sit. Thankyou Yasemin! You truly made a huge difference to Coco and I 😁😊"

"Juliette looked after our cat for a week when we went on holiday. She came for a meet and greet beforehand and was very warm and friendly from the start. Our cat took to her straight away. Juliette assured me she would look after our cat as if he was her own and I believe she did that. He was very well cared for and Juliette had a lovely kind way of interacting with him. As well as feeding him etc she also gave him lots of fuss and attention. She kept us updated with videos and pictures during the week which was very reassuring. You can tell that Juliette loves what she does and truly cares for the animals she looks after and I would highly recommend her."

"Victoria was great from first contact. Very friendly, and her communication is excellent. She came around to visit and discuss our requirements at an early stage.
One of our cats is quite timid but she came to Victoria straight away, which is reassuring.
Victoria visited the cats exactly when she said she would, and did as we asked.
We can’t recommend her enough! 10/10"
