"Katie is definitely a cat whisperer.
It was the first time I travelled and left my cats alone. So I was immensely nervous. Katie sent me photos and videos when she was here and they were always happy and playing with her. Even my youngest cat who is extremmely shy and hides from everyone who isn't my husband or me. I've asked if she was wearing a catnip suit, because that was unbelievable. My cats didn't loose or gain weight which means she also respected the amount of food and treats I've asked to give to them, and they were happy and relaxed when we arrived.
She is the best cat sitter we ever had and definitelly will be their sitter from now on.
Thank you so much Katie, you are the best."

"Natalie has always been an excellent pet sitter for our cat. This visit required Natalie to follow some more complicated instructions for getting access, but she dealt with it all well and maintained good communications."

"This was an extension of a quite long (4 weeks) arrangement, so I don't have much to add to my previous review.
In summary, Kaz is an excellent cat sitter, who cares for animals, follows the instructions, sends regular feedback, and responds very quickly to any additional request. I strongly recommend her to pet owners needing a sitter."

"Piao is a brilliant petsitter. Very attentive to every need of our pets, our cat was running to greet him on the second day of getting to know him. Piao was constantly updating is with photos and videos on every visit, the communication was great and made us feel completely at ease about being away from our pets as they were very clearly perfectly taken care of. Would be delighted to book Piao again, very highly recommended. "

"Fantastic sitter! Pamela is a very experienced cat sitter who was utterly reliable and conscientious. She got on very well with our cats, on the first time being alone, and we extremely good at communicating about minor issues (such as when one cat wet the bed), helping to sort things out
And we have some brilliant cat portraits now!"AReview by Alex

"Kath took care of our two cats for 10 days. Since the first message, she has always been prompt and caring. We got updated with photo or video of our cats everyday during our absence.
We knew from her experience that she knows to take care of cats but still, we were pleasantly suprised that one of our cat who is usually very shy and wouldn't go to new persons, got closer to Kath on the second day itself. And when we came back home, cats were looking good and didn't seem to have missed us.
Finally I would recommend Kath hands down !"

Why cat sitting ?
Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.
This is where a friendly Hauxton Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Hauxton cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Hauxton cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.
Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.
Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!
Pet owners book cat sitting in Hauxton on Pawshake. Over 933 pet owners in Hauxton have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
