Over the years, I've had the pleasure of caring for two remarkable cats, one of whom required special attention and medical care, including administering injections – a responsibility I willingly shouldered. I am Spanish, I have been living and working in Scotland for 4 years and now, I am living in Winchburgh.I have volunteered at an animal shelter in Spain, I have done events for adoptions of rescued dogs, I have rescued dogs, cats and birds from the street.  I have lived with birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, a ferret, cats and dogs throughout my entire life.  I have given medications to my sick cats. I adopted the love of my life, my cat Gwen, and together with my partner we made a feline family, adding 2 more adopted cats, Ikki and Tifa.  They were my babies too for 9 precious years.  Unfortunately both my girls had kidney failure, Tifa didn't get over it in a few weeks and after years of medication and lots of love, my fur baby Gwen was gone too.  We still have our little boy Ikki playing and enjoying the cuddles, which are now all for him.  I know what it's like to have a sick or elderly friend to care for and love and I would do it with all my love.I really love animals and I love spending time with them, petting them, taking care of them, playing, walking or running with them.If you want me to be your sitter, I will take a lot of photos on my visits and I will keep you informed of everything that happens. I also have my own car.

I moved to Edinburgh from New Zealand in 2022 and have been really missing animals as I'm not allowed a pet in my flat. I used pawshake to help save up for my move back in New Zealand for six months before I moved here. I really enjoyed meeting new people and pets and getting to form a bond with the ones I saw regularly. I am animal mad, I have a cat and I used to work in a cattery, I've also always had dogs, I grew up with spaniels from the age of 1 onwards. I've wored with horses and have been vegetarian since 8 years old because of my love of animals. I'm 27 and work part time as a design consultant but have 4 days off a week where I work on my own textiles. This means I have a lot of flexibility for pet-sitting. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time but as I had a young cat myself, most of my energy went into looking after her. I am friendly, trustworthy and reliable. I live in Edinburgh with my partner and our three year old fur baby Stormy the bengal who is definitely the most pampered cat on the planet.
I understand the anxiety of leaving a pet to go on holiday or work. It's something I struggle with myself and need the reassurance of someone understanding to look after my pet. That's exactly what I would do with yours. I would give you regular updates, photos and messages to let you know your fur baby is safe and happy. I'll go the extra mile to do whatever makes your cat happy, spending lots of time with them if that's what they want. I can play with your cat/dog, make sure they are fed, brushed, walked, whatever you would normally do with them I will continue while you are away so that stress is minimal for you and your pet. Cleaning litter trays and washing bowls is no problem, I know exactly what goes into looking after a pet. I have a car and live very near Cramond beach which is absolutel dog heaven.&nbsp;

My full time job is as a social care manager and I have a history of supporting vulnerable adults in this role. I am a genuine, empathetic, caring and honest person.

After falling in love with the first one so much we got four more cats in recent years. We have a male ragdoll, a maine coon/Siamese Cross and three other mix breeds between the age of 1 and 7.

I will spend around 30 minutes with your cats playing and ensuring they have plenty of food and water. I will change litter trays and administer any medication required. I am happy to send photos or make a video call of your furry ones to keep you updated whilst you are away.&nbsp;

I grew up always surrounded by pets at home and we had several dogs which were my best friends. I recently was a proud dog mum to two lovely but sometimes a little naughty rescue greyhounds! Sadly we lost them both in their old age earlier this year. I am not in a position to adopt again at the moment, but am missing the happiness and joy dogs can bring to our lives. This is why I have set up a Pawshake profile, to help out with your furry family&nbsp;
I have experience with anxious and needy dogs, as well as dogs who are not happy around other dogs, people or other pets. I am understanding, patient and caring and understand that all dogs are different and have their own quirks and funny personalities. I have carried out training with my own dogs, including basic commands but also helping with some behavioural issues and would be able to offer some of this experience to training. I'd be happy also to do some basic dog maintenance e.g brushing fur and teeth. I will get to know your dog and your requirements, and could house sit overnight at weekends, or bank holidays if needed. I would be able to also some basic house chores like watering the plants if I'll be there anyway, and would spend time with your day giving them plenty of fuss!
My availabilty for dog walking would primarily be weekends in the day or weekday evenings as I do work Monday to Friday, usually in the office. On the weekend, or weekday evenings I can dog sit or walk your dog, and will only take on one dog at at time (unless from the same family), so your dog would have my undivided attention (as it should be!).&nbsp;
I am based in the NewTown/Stockbridge area of Edinburgh so at the moment would be available for only fairly local dogs - but happy to meet more! Walks would mostly be short walks around the city, but if your dog needs longer walks we could go further to Inverleith Park or near you and do some running around and play fetch etc.&nbsp;

Hi, there! My name is Noah and I'm now studying in the art college of UoE. I really love animals and most of my design works start from animals' perspectives. I have some experience of walking and taking care of my friends' dogs when she is busy with her work (her dog is a Corgi, he has been bullied by large dogs in his childhood, it's not easy to walk him in the street.) Also, my sister is working in London, I will take care of her baby cat, jojo, in my holiday (you can see him in my profile photos)
Because I can't have a cat in the flat I rent, I only can be responsible for home visit. I have some free time in weekdays, especially in Wednesday, and of course the weekends. I totally understand the problem of my sister when she has to fly to another country for business trips or she cannot easily promise a long holiday trip, because she worries her pets. Also we don't really agree on sending cats to a new place for boarding, most of them have stress reactions. So I think home visit is a better way to solve problems. I am very responsible for taking care of cats. Don't worry about your cats starving or feeling lonely, I'm really looking forward to spending time with them :)

I'm a massive animal lover available for dog walking around Granton, Trinity and Leith areas. I've always had dogs and cats growing up and I really enjoy their company. I’ve spent time volunteering in DSPCA (RSPCA in Ireland) and Dogstrust so I’m familar with different dog breeds, sizes and personalities. I took a dog training course a few years ago where we learned various dog training techniques. 
I'm happy to vary the pace according to your dogs needs. Throwing sticks along the way if that's what they're into! I can do walks from 30 mins to 3 hours long. Your dog will enjoy a safe walk with lots of pats and attention.

 I’m veterinary technician graduate with biology master’s. I have job experience in pet hospital and private veterinary. I grew up with animals and I have experience with vast majority of pets. I love them they love me back.
I’m currently working home office as self employed data analyst, they won’t be alone. Don’t have much in my plate right now. So i’ve time for a furry fella. My Labrador passed away 2 years ago and I miss him everyday. After long years of companionship I got used to have a friend around me. Meeting new dogs and spending time with them really helps.
I live 2 minutes to The Meadows and it is perfect for dog walking I love it here. If I'm walking with a friendly social dog, it gives the opportunity to meet other dogs, say hi and play a little and if I'm walking with a dog who is nervous around other dogs/people there are paths to avoid other dogs and crowd so they can just walk and relax. The Meadows is big enough for everybody. 
Keeping the same routine is essential for dogs. I will follow their routine while getting to know them. It’s all about communication once we start they will tell me what they need and what they want.
