"Richard has a very positive and caring attitude to looking after the dogs in his care, I left my large male Rotweiller in Richard's care. He was looked after brilliantly taken out for walks, let loose in the water to have fun and mixed with some animals. He had a brilliant time , not left caged up somewhere , I know Caesar was well looked after definitely going to book with Richard again !!!! A big thank you !!!!"

"Jessica is a true animal lover. Lucca had a wonderful week with her. She sent super photos and videos of the walks Lucca went on. She gave him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Lucca bonded with her very well indeed. I think she is a superb dog carer and I will definitely use her again."

"I can happily recommend Samantha 100%. She is a great dog carer and has real empathy with dogs. She sent me photos daily which was very reassuring. Lucca was relaxed and happy all the time, and did not seem phased having been living in a different house for a few days. "We booked Janine’a dog boarding service for 3 days. She took care of our Wilbur with utmost care . She has a little cute dog, Tinker Bell. Wilbur got along with her and enjoyed the stay a lot. Janine gave Wilbur a very cute gift when we took back Wilbur. And she didn’t forget to check up on Wilbur the day after she returned Wilbur to us. Such an amazing dog sitter she is. "Elena was absolutely amazing with Luna, our cockapoo! The whole experience was excellent. From the very first messages exchanged, Elena was very understanding and flexible in giving me options for dates she could have our dog. This is despite the fact I had to arrange a dog sitter at very short notice!
We met with our dogs at a park before the booking dates and Elena asked pertinent questions, so she could get to know Luna and make sure it was the right fit for everyone.
During Luna's stay, Elena kept me up-to-date, sending lovely pictures of their walks. It is very obvious to me that Luna had a great time... and so did Elena and her family, taking care of a dog that gets excited being around lovely people. :-)
I have no doubt that I'll reach out to Elena again if I need a dog sitter and will recommend her to everyone. Thanks again Elena!
PS: I even had a last minute need to extend Luna's stay for a day and once again, Elena was a star, responding quickly and accommodating the request."

"Mei was brilliant with our dog Bonita. She sent us regular messages and photos throughout Bonita's stay. She has a lovely home with plenty of space for the dogs to relax and stretch a leg. We came back home to a happy dog. Highly recommended. "

"Oti had a great time with Nadia. She was really well looked after. I received daily updates, photos and videos. Nadia’s flat was lovely and clean & Oti felt immediately at home. There’s a play area for dogs just outside & Oti loved it. She was walked regularly as well. She met her best pal Kaiser (Nadia’s dog) who she loved playing with. I’d 100% recommend her without hesitation. Thanks Nadia ! "

"We don't hesitate in giving Pri & Viggy a 5 star review every time. They have been taking care of our Black Lab, Maya, for the last two years, whilst we have been abroad on our annual holiday and also for days out when we could not have a dog with us. We are really grateful for the way Maya is cared for, and how excited she is when she goes back! She loves her time with them and the company of their own dog Maxi. They take the dogs on long rural walks where they can run around and enjoy the surroundings. We get regular updates and photos, which is very reassuring and gives us complete peace of mind. "

"I hadn't used Pawshake before but I couldn't be more impressed with the pet sitter I chose! Barbara was lovely from start to finish, she welcomed my rescue puppy into her home and made a genuine effort to get to know her and her needs. I was kept up to date with regular photos & messages during Freya's stay and was in no doubt that my puppy was safe and happy. "Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.
