"Where do I start?
We had a bad experience with a cat sitter in the past, so we were naturally quite anxious about finding someone new. A friend recommended Pawshake, as they had always had great experiences and couldn't fault any of the cat sitters they had booked through the platform.
That's when we came across Char's profile. After a quick chat, Char offered to come over for a face-to-face meeting and to meet our cat, Cleo. From the very first moment, we could tell how warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely Char is. She has exactly the kind of energy you want around your pet when you're away.
Throughout our trip, we received clear, informative updates and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious that Cleo was being well cared for and receiving plenty of attention and affection.

"Emily from Pawshake is absolutely brilliant 🤩 she visited us twice before our holiday and she asked lots of questions and took notes so that she knew exactly what we would like done for our cat while we were away. Whilst she was looking after our cat, she sent a report card and photographs each time she visited which was extremely reassuring. She clearly spent time with our cat to give him some much needed fuss and attention. We highly recommend Emily and we will not hesitate to invite her to look after our cat in the future - thank you Emily 🙏 😀"

If you’re looking for a trusted, caring and genuinely fabulous cat sitter, look no further than Sarah! I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough.
This is now about the 10th time Sarah has looked after my two boys, Mojo and Joey, and I wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. They are two very handsome cats with VERY demanding cuddle and snack requirements 😂… and Sarah is absolutely wonderful with them.
From the moment she arrives, they are thrilled to see her, and it’s so lovely knowing they are not only being cared for, but genuinely loved and fussed over while I’m away. Sarah sends me daily updates, gorgeous photos and little snippets of how they’re doing, which gives me complete peace of mind and makes being away so much easier.
What makes Sarah so special is the trust she has built with both me and the boys. Mojo and Joey absolutely adore her, and their excitement when they see her again says everything!
Sarah is reliable, kind, caring, attentive and clearly loves animals. I know that when she is looking after my boys, they are in the safest and most loving hands possible.

"From the issues with booking on the app to end of service delivered by Jack was very polite and I had no reservations in leaving our home and pets under his supervision after the meet and greet opportunity.
We left our home at 9.30 am and returned at 10.30 pm. We wouldn’t have even known Jack had been in or we had left. House and all 4 pets as we left.
We have no reservations in recommending Jack as a house and pet sitter for the day. We would definitely rebook Jack for the same service."

"Kate was absolutely fantastic looking after my cat while I was away for three days. From the moment I left, I felt completely reassured knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. She didn’t just feed him and make sure the basics were covered — she genuinely cared for him. She groomed him, played with him, and clearly gave him lots of attention and affection while I was away.
She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful throughout. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which says everything. It’s such a relief finding someone you can trust completely with your pet.
Part of me doesn’t even want to leave such a glowing review because I selfishly don’t want her to get fully booked the next time I need her — but she absolutely deserves every bit of praise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kate to anyone looking for a brilliant cat sitter."

"Claire is a friendly and reliable cat sitter. She looked after our cat for over two weeks this summer, and sent regular updates and photos while we were away. She also watered the plants and took the bins out which was a bonus! Arrived home to find a happy cat, with food and water in his bowls, and a clean litter tray etc. If we need a cat sitter in the future, I would book Claire again and would be happy to recommend her."

"I have availed of Alex’s services on a good number of occasions for my two cats. This time she visited them twice a day for a week. I am pretty precious when it comes to my cats and I’m fairly picky generally but I absolutely, 100%, without reservation, say that Alexandra is simply the best cat sitter I’ve ever had in 30 years of owning cats. She is a warm, positive, reliable person with a superb manner with cats. And my cats don’t lie. When I arrived home, they aren’t sad, silent and grumpy because I’ve been away a week- they’re chatty, affectionate, active, clearly happy because, that’s what they’ve been used to each day I’ve been gone! Like they’ve been on therapy and are all loved-up! Her communication also is excellent, lots of updates. Fabulous. "

"Yasemin was wonderful from beginning to end. She is so lovely and genuinely has a passion for providing the best care for pets. She looked after my cat Coco for a few days while I was on a family holiday. My cat is a rescue and takes a while to warm up to people. After our first meeting, Coco was at ease and was happy to get some love from her new friend. This was the first time for me, leaving Coco in the care of someone who isn't family, and I couldn't be happier with the care Yasemin provided. She kept me updated everyday with videos and piccies of Coco, which really helped ease my anxiety and feel happy in the knowledge that my floofy girl was happy and cared for. Yasemin was wonderful to talk to and always responded quickly to messages upon first contact. She understood all care instructions and was happy to help. I messed up the booking and Yasemin was super sweet and flexible, which was really appreciated. I can tell that Coco was really pleased with her new friend, as she didn't yell at me when I came home! Altogether, I know exactly who I will be messaging first, next time I need some to cat sit. Thankyou Yasemin! You truly made a huge difference to Coco and I 😁😊"
