We had a bad experience with a cat sitter in the past, so we were naturally quite anxious about finding someone new. A friend recommended Pawshake, as they had always had great experiences and couldn't fault any of the cat sitters they had booked through the platform.
That's when we came across Char's profile. After a quick chat, Char offered to come over for a face-to-face meeting and to meet our cat, Cleo. From the very first moment, we could tell how warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely Char is. She has exactly the kind of energy you want around your pet when you're away.
Throughout our trip, we received clear, informative updates and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious that Cleo was being well cared for and receiving plenty of attention and affection.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Char to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter."

Meet and greet completed and we decided how to proceed with care for three dogs for two home visits.
Sarah collected our keys as agreed and asked appropriate questions. I felt very secure leaving keys and our dogs with Sarah.
Keys and house left perfectly. All three dogs good. Communication via text and no issues.
Would recommend Sarah for house sitting three small dogs. One of which has small dog attitude problems and Sarah not phased."

"Kate was absolutely fantastic looking after my cat while I was away for three days. From the moment I left, I felt completely reassured knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. She didn’t just feed him and make sure the basics were covered — she genuinely cared for him. She groomed him, played with him, and clearly gave him lots of attention and affection while I was away.
She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful throughout. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which says everything. It’s such a relief finding someone you can trust completely with your pet.
Part of me doesn’t even want to leave such a glowing review because I selfishly don’t want her to get fully booked the next time I need her — but she absolutely deserves every bit of praise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kate to anyone looking for a brilliant cat sitter."

"I can't thank Jessica enough for looking after and feeding my two cats. It's not an easy task... I have one cat who is greedy and eats everything, has a specific veterinary diet and tablets due to his health needs. My other cat is nervous and shy, and she has refused to eat with other cat sitters I have tried. I thought I'd never be able to go away for even a night as it was such a task to feed them both. Jessica is a miracle worker and must be a cat whisperer. My nervous cat went up to her on their first meeting and even ate her food in her presence. While I was away, she managed to get both cats to eat all their meals with no issues. My nervous cat took to her immediately and was even purring with her. I was gobsmacked and ecstatic! Jessica is a true animal lover, extremely caring and kind, and very professional. I completely trust her with my cats and would strongly recommend her services to others. I will definitely be booking her again to look after my cats."

"Yasemin was wonderful from beginning to end. She is so lovely and genuinely has a passion for providing the best care for pets. She looked after my cat Coco for a few days while I was on a family holiday. My cat is a rescue and takes a while to warm up to people. After our first meeting, Coco was at ease and was happy to get some love from her new friend. This was the first time for me, leaving Coco in the care of someone who isn't family, and I couldn't be happier with the care Yasemin provided. She kept me updated everyday with videos and piccies of Coco, which really helped ease my anxiety and feel happy in the knowledge that my floofy girl was happy and cared for. Yasemin was wonderful to talk to and always responded quickly to messages upon first contact. She understood all care instructions and was happy to help. I messed up the booking and Yasemin was super sweet and flexible, which was really appreciated. I can tell that Coco was really pleased with her new friend, as she didn't yell at me when I came home! Altogether, I know exactly who I will be messaging first, next time I need some to cat sit. Thankyou Yasemin! You truly made a huge difference to Coco and I 😁😊"

"Juliette looked after our cat for a week when we went on holiday. She came for a meet and greet beforehand and was very warm and friendly from the start. Our cat took to her straight away. Juliette assured me she would look after our cat as if he was her own and I believe she did that. He was very well cared for and Juliette had a lovely kind way of interacting with him. As well as feeding him etc she also gave him lots of fuss and attention. She kept us updated with videos and pictures during the week which was very reassuring. You can tell that Juliette loves what she does and truly cares for the animals she looks after and I would highly recommend her."
