"We recently hired Julie to look after our two cats while we were away, and we were overall really happy with the experience. Julie is reliable, trustworthy and professional, meeting with us beforehand to discuss the schedule and meet the cats.
One of our cats, Vinnie, gets upset when we are away and Julie took the time to build his trust with play sessions and treats and by the end he was wiggling around showing his belly; a rare treat for those he trusts! He played interactive toys with Julie every day, highlighting Julie's patience, calm approach and experience with upset cats.
Our other cat Roxi is very shy around new people and just hides. Julie made sure that she ate too, ensuring that our other cat didn't eat her food and providing fresh water. Roxi looked happy and healthy when we got back, so this is a credit to Julie.
Julie provided regular video and text updates throughout the home visits, which gave us peace of mind. Showing any progress during interactive play sessions.
The cat trays were scooped and binned as needed, so we came back to a clean home and cats had a clean and safe environment. Water was topped up for both cats too.
We returned home to two happy and safe cats and we couldn't be happier. We can therefore highly recommend Julie to anybody considering her services.

"Sophie looked after our cat while we were away for a week and helped us feel very at ease. Our cat has a condition that means he has a strictly managed diet and a bit of anxiety around his toilet trips, and Sophie ensured he was kept fed, clean and safe for us.
She was very communicative and happy to share photos and videos each day, and even was happy to clean up a couple of hairballs for us. She even went the extra mile to make sure he stayed cool during a warm June week.
We would feel very confident leaving our cat for Sophie to care for the next time we’re away, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone else looking for an attentive, organised and reliable cat sitter!"

"Heather was a great find via Pawshake. She came to meet us before finalising the booking and then popped over to pick up the keys once everything was arranged. Heather agreed to do two visits per day and kept in touch with me by sending photos of our cat at least once a day. This was reassuring as I was concerned our cat might just take off as he tends to be nervous around strangers. Our cat was fine when we returned home and I would recommend Heather to anyone who is thinking of having a pet sitter come home rather than taking a pet to kennels/a cattery. Thank you, Heather!"

"I recently had the pleasure of having Olga look after my beloved cat, Mia, while I was away on holiday. "Mairead is a fantastic cat sitter and took great care of our cat while we were away for the Easter weekend. After the first five minutes of the meet and greet with Mairead, I knew she loves animals and deeply cares about their welfare. "We have never used a pet sitter before so were a bit apprehensive. Anna was lovely from start to finish. Her communication was great and she has a fabulous personality. "I have availed of Alex’s services on a good number of occasions for my two cats. This time she visited them twice a day for a week. I am pretty precious when it comes to my cats and I’m fairly picky generally but I absolutely, 100%, without reservation, say that Alexandra is simply the best cat sitter I’ve ever had in 30 years of owning cats. She is a warm, positive, reliable person with a superb manner with cats. And my cats don’t lie. When I arrived home, they aren’t sad, silent and grumpy because I’ve been away a week- they’re chatty, affectionate, active, clearly happy because, that’s what they’ve been used to each day I’ve been gone! Like they’ve been on therapy and are all loved-up! Her communication also is excellent, lots of updates. Fabulous. "

"I cannot recommend Emily highly enough! My cats are the most precious thing in the world to me and leaving them with a cat sitter is always a bit of a worry, but I would now never hesitate to ask Emily to look after them! It’s clear that she is a cat lover herself and that really showed in her care and attention. She didn’t just feed the cats, but actually spent time with them and made sure that they were happy and content each day. She also provided us with pictures and updates, which was much appreciated. One of our cats requires medication twice a day and Emily had absolutely no problem administering this. She really was the most perfect cat sitter that we could have wished for. If you need a cat sitter, do not hesitate to book her! "
